Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Workday platform. This role requires deep collaboration with internal teams to gather and analyze business requirements and develop solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to gather and analyze business requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Workday Extend, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business processes.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Workday Extend applications and orchestrations.
• Create and manage business processes within Workday Extend to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices in Workday Extend development.
• Assist with the testing and deployment of Workday Extend solutions, ensuring robustness and effectiveness.
• Train client teams and end-users on the functionality of new Workday Extend applications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday Extend configurations, addressing any issues promptly to ensure continuous system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Workday Extend, including a portfolio of developed applications.
• Strong understanding of Workday data structures, security, interfaces, and business processes.
• Experience in data integration and designing efficient business processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders across various departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with other Workday functionalities such as HCM, Financial Management, or Payroll.
• Knowledge of broader programming languages or platforms such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certification in Workday Extend development is highly preferred.
