The AMS and Application Support Practice Lead is responsible for leading the Application Managed Services (AMS) practice and overseeing application support operations. This role involves developing and executing strategies for AMS, managing a team of support professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Plan, develop, and execute Next Gen AMS propositions and technology strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of application support professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Innovation: Drive the development and delivery of innovative solutions using automation, AI, and AIOps concepts.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop tailored AMS solutions.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, optimizing resources and technology investments.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of AMS activities and report on key performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AMS and application support, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in AMS strategies and application support methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation, AI, and AIOps.
Knowledge of modern application support tools and technologies.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
