We are looking for a Multi-Crafter Maintenance Engineer.


Focus on supporting the overall maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Completing tasks assigned or self-diagnosed, include but not necessarily limited to the troubleshooting of equipment, corrective maintenance activity, assembly and disassembly of components, and minimal fabrication. Support all production equipment and physical plant equipment in the facility.


MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  1. Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to a supervisor.
  2. Perform fabrication, mechanical, electrical (including PLC diagnosis), hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner to ensure continuity of operations, and which supports the continuous improvement process within the facility.
  3. Troubleshoot, diagnose, plan and repair equipment as required. Determines materials, replacement parts, and tools/parts needed to proceed with logical approach to repairs, maintenance and rebuilds.
  4. Set-up, adjust, calibrate, and operate equipment; perform layout and bench work; inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, rebuild, assemble, weld, install and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.
  5. Inspect for defects, misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication and determine best process for making repairs with limited interruption to production.
  6. Responsible for modifications to schematic/drawings for machine alterations.
  7. Disassemble moves and/or relocates existing equipment and install new equipment.
  8. Maintain tools and work area in a safe, neat and secure manner.
  9. Maintain daily work logs and update equipment and component records, and if applicable, electronic Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  10. Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including but not limited to, use of all PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working.
  11. May train others on maintenance activities, including but not limited to preventative maintenance.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.


Availability to relocate in Aslip, IL.


REQUIREMENTS:

Electrical, Mechanical Engineering degree required. (título & cédula)

5 years of experience on field.

Valid tourist visa and passport.

Advanced English.

TN Visa holders are welcome.
