Role: Production Support - Remote

They are ramping up traffic to their products/tools this year, and need to bring on a couple production support people.

Need L1/L2 production support experience.

Need to be seasoned people. Should know and have experience with production support, have a production support / troubleshooting / problem solving mindset. Need to have a strong knowledge of and experience with the typical production support behaviors/duties (don't need a runbook to know what to do).

Need to be very reliable and proactive.

Provide technical support for enterprise-level applications / systems.

Respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner, hitting SLA's

Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue. Identify issues/problems, determine root cause, and escalate to the appropriate teams.

Need strong SQL skills

Unix shell scripting experience is ideal

Understanding of GCP logs, error log stack trace, etc

Knowledge of industry standard tools for operations / support

Ideally experience with PagerDuty (will potentially entertain a similar tool)

Tools this team utilizes:

PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP

Primarily core business hour support (possibly starting earlier or ending later, as they need coverage from EST to PST for core business hours in those timezones)
