Descripción

The Associate Systems Admin ensures the stable operation of client information systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing of all hardware, software and client systems within the company. Responsibilities will also include analysis and resolution of end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training when required.


ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Administers client systems and applications using Ivanti endpoint manager and other client information systems.
  • Develop and deploy client images.
  • Plan, coordinate, communicate and execute release of client applications and system updates.
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshoot new hardware and applications.
  • Assist in the recommendation, planning and implementation of new client IT systems.
  • Assist in implementation of new server systems with the Systems Administrator.
  • Assist in the management, monitoring and resolution of help desk tickets.
  • Support of North America clients and systems may be required.
  • Works collaboratively with other departments within North America Group to meet project goals and organizational objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.

EXPERIENCE:

  • One or more years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server environment including Active Directory, NTFS permissions, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • One or more years of Ivanti Endpoint Management or equivalent experience deploying system images, application and software updates.
  • Four or more years experience in the installation, support, and administration of Microsoft Windows clients, VOIP and mobile phones.
  • Basic understanding of networking including TCP/IP, routing, subnets, vLANS, LAN and WAN.
  • Microsoft remote desktop services is a plus.
  • Veeam backup system or similar experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Exchange administration experience is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to colleagues both on-site and remote.
  • Four or more years of IT service desk experience. ITIL is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, labeling software and antivirus software.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems.
