Network Specialist

The Network Engineer designs, implements, maintains, and supports our network infrastructure.

He/She will be part of a dispersed multinational systems engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network and security architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.

The Network Engineer 2nd Level will monitor to discover and qualify network incidents but also network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. It also includes configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., switches, access points,) and performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of network LAN / WAN / Wireless.
• Hands on experience in network engineering.
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Experience in designing secure networks and systems.

• Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst 4500, 3850, 2960XR series switches and routers
• Familiarity with Xtreme Switches or Aruba AP´s
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki MS350, MS410, MS225, MR42, MR74 and MX series devices.
• Configuring and supporting LAN switches and wireless networking
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• Business English TOEFL
