Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services that power real-time and batch analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Azure SQL, consumer APIs, Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks, along with a strong understanding of event data and attribution in digital analytics.

This role involves integrating data from multiple digital platforms including Google Analytics (GA), Meta Ads, and Branch. io, so experience in similar projects is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL.
• Integrate and normalize data from consumer APIs including Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and Branch.
• Build scalable ETL / ELT workflows in Python for transforming event-level data
• Implement attribution models and event-driven logic for analytics and reporting.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and data teams to define and refine event tracking and attribution logic.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across digital platforms
• Monitor pipeline health and implement alerting and diagnostics for proactive issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong background in SQL
• Proficient in Python for data engineering tasks and automation
• Hands-on experience with Azure functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks for cloud-based data processing
• Strong background in working with consumer APIs (REST, GraphQL, OAuth)
• Direct experience with GA4, Meta Ads API, and Branch. io API for data extraction
• Solid understanding of digital events, conversion tracking, and multi-touch attribution
• Familiarity with data modeling, cloud storage, and data quality best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing CI / CD for data pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git)
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and medallion / lakehouse architecture
• Exposure to Azure Synapse, SQL, or Power BI is a plus
