We are looking for: Product Designer (Power BI / Data Visualization) Mexico City
Seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer based in Mexico, with a strong background in Power BI and data visualization. This role is ideal for creative problem-solvers who can design user-centric, visually compelling dashboards and interfaces, turning data into actionable insights.
This is a 6-month contract role with high potential for extension. Work is remote-first, with a strong preference for candidates who can attend occasional onsite meetings in Mexico City (once a month).
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or related disciplines.
Strong proficiency with Power BI and data visualization techniques.
Experience designing enterprise-level dashboards or data-centric products.
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and design systems.
Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and receive constructive feedback.
Fluent in English
Must be located in Mexico and authorized to work.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
Experience designing for enterprise clients or within multinational teams.
Exposure to Agile or Scrum-based product development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and iterate on user interfaces for data-driven tools and dashboards.
Build visually engaging, insightful reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Partner closely with product managers, data teams, and engineering to align product goals with user needs.
Transform complex datasets into simple, intuitive design solutions.
Apply UX best practices, usability heuristics, and responsive design principles.
Ensure alignment with PepsiCo's brand guidelines and design standards.
Gather feedback, conduct design reviews, and adjust prototypes or designs accordingly.
