Position: Senior Data Engineer SCAccUS
Location: Onsite - San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon.

Details of the role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Supply Chain team for the USA project. This individual will lead data engineering initiatives with a strong focus on data modeling and data ingestion processes. A background in logistics and SAP knowledge is highly desirable. The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in structuring and managing data processes, working closely with a global perspective and overseeing a team of two or more data professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead data engineering efforts within the Supply Chain USA project, overseeing data modeling, ingestion, and pipeline management.
- Design and implement data ingestion processes, utilizing ETL tools, data replicators, and integration platforms like Five Tran and Informatica.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment with project goals and facilitate accurate data flow across systems.
- Manage data modeling processes for optimized storage, access, and analysis.
- Utilize SQL and Snowflake to handle complex database requirements, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 2+ data professionals.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
- 1+ years of experience with Snowflake databases.
- 2+ years of experience in data ingestion using ETLs or replicators such as Five Tran or Informatica.
- Advanced level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Good to have skills:
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI (preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP and logistics data processes is highly desirable.
- Experience in supply chain data management or logistics analytics.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to data engineering challenges.
- Leadership and mentorship skills to guide junior data team members effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
