Our client: An Startup automotive European T1 Company is looking for: Quality Engineer – Automotive Industry
Professional Summary:
Results-driven Quality Engineer with at leastfive years of experience in the automotive industry. Skilled in problem-solving methodologies (8D/A3), continuous improvement, and quality data analysis. Adept at coordinating cross-functional teams to enhance quality performance and drive operational excellence. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
?Key Responsibilities:
Lead problem-solving initiatives (8D for customer claims, A3 for internal critical quality issues), ensuring root cause identification and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement in key quality areas, including customer complaints, FTT, process audits, and measurements to exceed quality targets.
Organize and lead QRQC meetings, track problem resolution progress, and ensure accountability among responsible team members.
Monitor Layered Process Audits (LPA), prepare monthly plans, supervise execution, and drive systematic improvements.
Conduct quality data collection, statistical analysis (e.g., COPQ, Pareto analysis), and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Maintain and update quality metrics on SPQVC Kanban, ensuring transparency and timely resolution of quality issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product quality issues, leveraging Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt preferred).
Key Competencies & Technical Skills:
Familiarity with GD&T, machining, assembly processes, and surface treatments (plating and/or painting ).
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.
Proficient in Siemens QSYS (CAQ), QDAS, MiniTab, and CAD.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Advanced English proficiency is mandatory
