As a member of the Optima group, OPTIMA packaging machines, S.A. de C.V. is located in Mexico City in order to provide sales and service for the Optima customers in Mexico.
For the local support we are searching a
Service Technician (m/f/d)
Tasks
· Service and maintenance tasks on filling and closing equipment for packaging industry
· Providing production support to customers who own Optima equipment at site
· Trouble shooting at customer site on mechanical and electrical machine failures / errors including the collection of information, sharing and solving together with the team in Germany
· Executing simple machinery modifications, either to repair customers' equipment or to upgrade based on engineering developments
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
· Determining recommended maintenance schedule for particular machinery and components as well as spare-parts replacement or calibration schedules
· Executing move in, installation and commissioning of aseptic filling and packaging machinery in a clean room environment.
· Training the customers' personnel in both electrical and mechanical aspects of the machinery
· Documentation of all performed activities in service reports, change control reports, etc.
Qualification and skills
· Degree in Mechatronics, robotics, electrical or related engineering degree
· Minimum of 2 years' experience with the assembly of mechanical components and commissioning of filling and closing machines or other similar special machinery
· Customer-oriented working commitment
· Good systematic thinking and technical understanding
· Knowledge of the applicable hygiene, safety and quality regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, nonwovens, food or cosmetic
· Team player and active communication with different departments within the organization
· Willingness to travel 175 days per year
· Software troubleshooting (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
· Driver's License
