Manage the selection and maintenance of suppliers for Production and the Distribution Center. Lead the approval and certification of new suppliers, in accordance with company procedures. Establish, implement, negotiate, standardize, control, and improve the quality system activities of the receiving and quarantine areas related to suppliers to deliver a product within specifications according to the PAPP drawings and established requirements.

1. Lead supplier improvements. Lead the annual supplier audit plan, including its execution. Ensure compliance with the PPAP (Supplier Assurance Information (FAI) for supplier parts/products)

2 Establish and monitor quality objectives. (Annual Supplier Assessment).

3 Resolve supplier issues.

4 Manage defective materials; quarantine area.

5. Review and follow up on 8D responses.

6. Manage complaints and corrective actions. (Open and manage SCARs with suppliers, including CAPA/Effectiveness and credit tracking, prioritizing.)

7. Provide technical support in quality matters.

8. Follow up on supplier issues daily.

9. Propose quality improvements.

10.- Coordinates MRB meetings for quarantine material disposal (Participate in SCAR Vendor Review Board (MRB) committees and participate in decisions and their implementation.)

11.- Responsible for records received from suppliers (standards certification, contracts, NDAs, etc.).

12.- Responsible for the Quarantine area

13 .- Records on priority the SCAR's maintain a direct communication with the suppliers on SCAR's and quality issues.

Studies: industrial engineering, production systems or related careers.

English Level: Intermediate - Advanced (Conversational).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, experience with troubleshooting tools (8D's) Knowledge: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, Knowledge of Core Tools (MSA, PPAP, CP, FMEA, SPC), (8D's), Root Cause Analysis. Knowledge in Interpretation of plans., Solid knowledge of VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, Knowledge in Product Audit, Sampling Techniques. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Office proficiency Skills: Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
