Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting conditions, and workholding strategies for each job.
• Optimize toolpaths for efficiency, accuracy, surface finish, and tool life.
• Support shop floor teams during setup, first article runs, and troubleshooting.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or similar).
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and tooling departments to ensure manufacturing feasibility and compliance.
• Support documentation of setups, process sheets, and change control.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree or diploma in CNC programming, manufacturing, or mechanical technology.
• 3+ years of experience programming CNC machines in a precision machining environment.
• Strong understanding of G-code, toolpaths, cutting conditions, and machining strategy.
• Experience with aerospace components, tight tolerances, and hard materials (e.g., Inconel, titanium, stainless steel).
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Hands-on experience supporting machinists on the shop floor.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (professional working proficiency required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or with AS9100/NADCAP standards.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, NX, or CATIA.
• Familiarity with post-processor customization and simulation tools.
• Understanding of fixture design and interaction with tooling engineers.
