The Commercial Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing commercial strategies to maximize sales, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves leading the sales team, negotiating with key clients, and collaborating closely with production and logistics departments to ensure timely product supply and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the glass packaging market, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy Development and Execution:
Design and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
Identify growth opportunities in both existing and new markets.
Manage the commercial budget to ensure adequate return on investment.
Sales Management and Client Relations:
Lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including major manufacturers in the food, beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Negotiate commercial contracts, prices, and sales terms.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Monitor the glass packaging market to identify trends and opportunities.
Analyze competitors and proactively adjust commercial strategies.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and expectations.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
New Product Development and Solutions:
Work with the product development team to create innovative glass packaging solutions.
Propose product line improvements based on customer needs and market trends.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, profitability analysis, and growth projections.
Review key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the glass packaging industry.
Proven ability to manage commercial teams and develop business strategies.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong understanding of the packaging market and industry dynamics.
Willingness to travel as required.
A solid portfolio of clients in related industries.
