Automation Engineer (Siemens PLC programming 80% and Allen Bradley PLC programming 20%)

Objective:

Responsible for the safe and proper operation of the electrical, electronic, and programming components of the production lines in your unit, taking into account cost analysis. Performs inspections, modifications, and maintenance according to your unit's plans.

Requirements:

• Education: Electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience: 4 years of experience in reengineering and automation, as well as in commissioning of equipment or production lines, is essential.
• Intermediate English
• Schedule available

Essential skills:

1. Execution and programming of PLCs, components, and/or software: Siemens (S7 300, S7 400, MM440, etc.) and Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, MicroLogix, etc.)
2. Industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, Sercos)
3. Motion control (Bosch Rexroth MLC PPC, SINAMICS/SIMOTION) Servomotors
4. HMI (Wincc, TIA Portal)
5. Knowledge of power electronics (inverters, variable frequency drives, and power supplies).
6. Basic knowledge of electrical protection in substations and the use of diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, Meggers, and power network analyzers).
7. Knowledge of pneumatic components, instrumentation, and control systems
8. Knowledge of medium and high voltages is desirable
