ALTEN Mexico, a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group, is at the forefront of engineering and technology consulting. We specialize in delivering innovative solutions for the Automotive sector, focusing on advanced testing and validation processes. We are currently looking for an Intermediate Test Engineer HIL Motion (Automotive) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, executing, and analyzing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) tests specifically for automotive motion control systems.
Your primary duties will include designing test setups, developing detailed test cases, and ensuring that the performance and functionality of automotive components and systems meet rigorous industry standards. You will collaborate closely with design, development, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test systems for automotive motion control applications.
Developing and executing robust test cases for HiL motion testing.
Collecting and analyzing test data and results to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects in software and hardware under test.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance test methodologies and improve overall product quality.
Participating in the automation of testing processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
Contributing to test planning and strategy discussions for upcoming projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree / PhD in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing in the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to testing challenges.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in automotive testing.
