Purpose of Position.

Responsible of establishing the process and procedures of engineering to promote an efficient operation, implementing improvements in the procedures to increase efficiency and cost reduction

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

· Establish optimum manufacturing processes and procedures for newly released and existing products

· Provide product line support by maintaining routings, engineering changes,

· Participated in the cost roll exercise for high runners for all areas of the plant

· Implement time saving projects to reduce labor time with the use of new fixtures and new process

· Support and maintenance of manufacturing data to accurately support the cost structure of the plant

· Create Labor standards

· Perform time studies of processes : Take times, output of the lines

· Labor audits (system and physical)

· Part number analysis (labor and material cost) when requested by approved departments

· Participated in cost saving projects using DMAIC Methodologies

· Perform line balancing exercises to improve material flow and efficiency and productivity

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

A. Education.

Technical degree

• Statistical concepts knowledge: SPC, MSA
• Problem Solving methodologies knowledge (DMAIC, 8D's, PDCA, KT)
• Process metrics knowledge (Yield, FPY, RTY, SCRAP)

B. Work Experience.

2-4 year of experience in the field.

Industrial Degree

C. Additional Skills.

- Ability to interact with all personnel

- Experience on SAP system

- Vast Windchill Knowledge

- Experience in Microsoft programs
