The Manager leads development of cash management banking solutions and leads the cash forecasting process. The role is responsible for ensuring an efficient banking structure to support the global operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects. Cash operations aspect of the role entails overseeing initiation and completion of daily transactions.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate the global daily cash flow position and forecasts to help guide corporate decision making
Manage wire execution, ensuring risk mitigation measures are in place to reduce the risk of fraud & corporate loss
Manage short-term investment and FX portfolio by ensuring on time payments, up to date accounting and visibility across finance
Prepare and provide daily reporting to regional and global senior management.
Participate in finance functional meetings and coordinate on projects and reporting efforts with other finance, tax, and legal team members
Manage the resolution of any bank related issues through contact with other departments and account management
Work closely with accounting, payroll, benefits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, and legal departments
Execute the printing of checks for the Mexican Entity and subsidiaries
Determine proper coding of transactions for accurate accounting and application of amounts to the general ledger; generate multiple reports for the accounting department and various other departments
Execute month end close including accruals, MTM of derivatives, intercompany billings and reconciliations
Manage global positioning of foreign currency exposures and executed related hedging strategies
Other Responsibilities
SAP Maintenance – maintain foreign exchange rate tables within SAP to assist in the proper recording of daily transactions in foreign currencies. Support treasury and bank related master data, working with CMDM.
Lead global treasury management system (TMS) configuration, set-up and testing of new bank relationships and transactions.
Maintain custody of critical documents.
Oversee corporate T&E, Concur and corporate card (AMEX) Administration
Work Experiences
5+ years of experience administering finance/cash management functions in a corporate finance or treasury department or in banking operations, including responsibility for reconciliation of cash accounts
Education Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business or public administration, or related field.
Essential Capabilities (knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Personal Attributes)
Knowledge of corporate or bank-related financing principles, transactions and operations, such as cash management, wire transfers and letters-of-credit
Ability to operate and troubleshoot treasury management system and bank transfer systems helpful
Ability to recognize financial discrepancies and determine causation
Familiarity with accounting principles and standard practices
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate with fellow employees in a pleasant yet firm manner and a proven record of building rapport, cooperation and teamwork among peers and superiors.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, critical thinking skills and customer service skills
Strong Excel Skills (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
Prior experience managing or utilizing a corporate T&E program desirable
SAP experience required
