Functions:
- Analyze and develop solutions in response to project objectives, program requirements, and budget constraints for Industrial Projects interactively with design team and Clients.
- Participate in various predesign services, such as feasibility studies, site selection analyses, cost analyses, conceptual and basic designs, and design requirements documentation to propose to Clients
- Develop architecture schematic, conceptual, basic, and detailed designs, and final construction documents that show the building's appearance and details for its construction. Special importance to the construction and termination details.
- Model your own design in Revit, including all details, materials and finishes. Coordinate designs with the rest of disciplines to avoid clashes and interferences.
- Develop renders as required.
- Develop project specifications as required.
- Research state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances, including the ADA.
- Generate solutions which respond to Client's environmental and sustainability goals.
- Visit periodically Sites to ensure that contractors follow the design intent, use the specific materials, and meet work quality standards, and resolving construction issues as well.
- Collaborate with Team Leader, Project Manager, Project Architect, and various engineering disciplines to develop creative, elegant, and efficient solutions.
- Review and comment designs developed by third parties as required.
- Reply RFIs (Request For Information) issued by Contractors and Subcontractors.
- Ensure and promote quality, perform QA and QC in a regular and timely basis, specially before submittal of design packages.
- Present your own designs in front of Client/Owner when required.
- Identify and analyze problems, recommending and implementing flexible and creative solutions based on needs.
- Develop drawings, narratives, and packages for construction permit applications as needed.
- Develop drawings, narratives, and design packages for review of Client's Insurance Company, FM Global.
- Support and advice to Project Team and Owner about Mexican Codes, Norms and Standards applicable to the designs.
- Glean Client goals, needs and expectations.
- Ensure fulfilment of due dates.
Keep total coordination with Engineering Team in USA. Ensure total coordination between Local Subcontractors/Suppliers and engineering Team. Follow up progress of works of Local Subcontractors.
Profile:
Studies: Architect. Desirable postgraduate degree.
Knowledge and experience:
English proficiency: intermediate to advanced.
Knowledge and experience:
Advance level: Autocad. Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 o Collaboration Pro. Lumium, BlueBeam. Sketc-Up or similar.
Desirable: Revitzo.
Word, excel, Powerpoint.
