Descripción

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled to join our team and ensure the highest quality standards across our content supply chain. This role is critical to maintaining an exceptional viewer experience across global platforms, driving efficiency, and identifying opportunities for improvement in our operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Content Quality Control (Core)

  • Review and validate video, audio, metadata, artwork, and localization components to ensure everything is accurate and aligned with our quality standards.
  • Detect and flag content defects (e.g., missing subtitles, loudness issues, incorrect frame rates) and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Compare multiple versions of content (e.g., different audio tracks or subtitle files) to select and conform the best version for final delivery.
  • Ingest validated content into our Media Asset Management system (MAM), ensuring metadata accuracy and data consistency with the Data Governance team.
  • Assemble full-length episodes with bumpers, end cards, or other assets, ensuring transitions are smooth and creative intent is preserved.
  • Use editing, captioning, and QC tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Resolve, OOONA, MacCaptions) to review and make minor fixes when needed.
  • Maintain clear documentation of QA findings and track recurring issues, helping to identify trends and common problem sources across vendors or workflows.
  • Analyze and communicate operational challenges or dependencies that impact content delivery, suggesting process improvements to avoid delays or repeated issues.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Contribute to post-mortem reviews and case studies after incidents or missed deadlines, helping the team understand root causes and avoid similar issues in the future.
  • Actively participate in pilot tests and new tool evaluations aimed at improving media workflows and automation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with programming, content operations, localization, and vendor teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of content.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to improve on-time publishing and customer experience across global distribution partners.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, post-production, QC/QA, or content servicing within the media or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows and ability to differentiate between technical and creative editing.
  • Proficient in video/audio codecs (ProRes, J2K, H.264, 5.1, Atmos), frame rates (23.98, 25, 29.97), and timed text formats (.scc, .srt, IMSC).
  • Experience using ticketing and task management systems such as Jira or Zendesk.
  • Highly organized and capable of handling multiple similar files and complex details at once.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to track and analyze large sets of data.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
