We are looking for the Supervisor in collections


Position Summary:


The Collections Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the collections team to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This role will lead a team of collectors, monitor performance, resolve escalated issues, and develop strategies to improve collections metrics while maintaining positive customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Supervise, mentor, and train a team of collection specialists to achieve performance targets.

Monitor collection activities to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Reports analytics and key metrics; prioritizes accounts and develops action plans to achieve collection goals

Handle complex or escalated customer accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.

Provide regular reporting to management on team performance, collection status, and trends.

Participate in performance evaluations and staff development.

Stay current on relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA) governing collections practices.


Qualifications:


English level C1

1+ years in a supervisory or team lead role with experience in accounts receivable/collections

Experience 3rd party collections

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in collection software and MS Excel.

Knowledge of credit and collections policies, legal regulations, and best practices.

Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive interactions tactfully.

Salary and Benefits:


Base Salary: $25,000 MXN per month

Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of monthly salary based on achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Commission Structure: Additional commission based on client collections performance, as per the company's commission scheme
