Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

English: Advanced Level

Work Mode: Hybrid

What do you need for this challenge?

· Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native platform infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.

· Design and maintain Kubernetes-based orchestration systems, including integration with service mesh and API gateway technologies.

· Build and evolve Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that enable infrastructure abstraction and self-service for engineering teams.

· Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistency and agility across environments.

· Develop automation tools and platform services that enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.

· Implement comprehensive observability across platform components, including telemetry, metrics, distributed tracing, and proactive alerting.

· Lead platform security initiatives, enforcing authentication, authorization, compliance, and zero-trust networking principles.

· Ensure operational excellence through incident response, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational playbooks.

Required Experience:

· 7+ years of platform or DevOps engineering experience.

· Strong hands-on experience with CNCF, container networking, and service mesh implementations.

· Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ArgoCD), automation scripting, and CI/CD tooling.

· Demonstrated experience in observability, telemetry, and monitoring system design.

· Background in security-first design, governance, and scalable API management.

· Experience working in agile teams and delivering high-impact outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor's degree: Systems Engineer or related
