Research Associate
Summary
We are a global organization dedicated to putting information at the service of medicine. The companies and people of the P/S/L group aim to improve medical care by increasing the effectiveness of activities pertaining to scientific communication, medical education, and product/service marketing.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Research Director and working with a team of research professionals, the Research Associate mandate includes:
- Monitor and guide pharmaceutical market research projects through the project lifecycle, and keep internal teams on track to complete projects successfully
- Troubleshoot any issues and provide solution-based recommendations to the Research Manager
- Support research team in the delivery of high quality deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders
- Review materials and initiate internal kick off calls
- Create and maintain project checklist for assigned research studies
- Update and maintain internal database with project specifications
- Maintain and update project timelines and communicate timeline changes to internal teams
- Provide regular updates to internal teams regarding the status of assigned projects
- Proofread market research surveys for logic and skip pattern accuracy
- Answer queries from the survey building team related to questionnaire logic
- Test online surveys for length and quality
- Give approvals for market research surveys to launch
- Build tab specifications and answer any queries from the Data Analysis team
- Help build chart shells with the assistance of the Research Manager
- Guide the population of charts and answer any queries from the Charting Team
- Provide teams with needed materials on a timely basis to advance projects through the lifecycle
- Provide administrative project support, such as completing internal and external forms
- Follow SOPs and escalation procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's / University degree
- 2+ years' work experience; project management and/or market research experience is an asset
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Experience with Excel
- Ability to develop internal relationships
