Reports to: Regional Director / Global CEO
Position Summary:
We are looking for a commercially-oriented Country Manager to lead the company's operations in Mexico, based in Monterrey. This role will be responsible for accelerating business growth, leading the local team, and ensuring the achievement of commercial, financial, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the national commercial strategy focused on profitable growth.
- Identify new business opportunities in the automotive, consumer, and manufacturing sectors.
- Manage the local P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
- Represent the company with key clients, industry bodies, and strategic partners.
- Lead and coordinate local teams across sales, operations, and administration.
- Ensure alignment with the group's global vision and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in commercial and leadership roles, ideally within the industrial or automotive sector.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, and cross-functional team management.
- Advanced English (required).
- Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and results-driven leadership.
Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience, ideally as a General Manager, Country Manager, or equivalent.
Proven success in leading commercial strategy and expanding business through new opportunities.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
Excellent negotiation abilities and experience maintaining long-term client and supplier relationships.
Experience in structured, performance-driven environments.
Availability for national and international travel.
Valid passport and visa.
Solid knowledge of import/export processes is a strong plus.
Background in industrial sectors such as petrochemical, manufacturing, or distribution is desirable.
