Descripción
Global company dedicated to the manufacture of dry type transformers seeks Quality Manager
Objective
Manage work plans and programs, ensuring that the production process culminates with products and/or services that will be within predetermined standards. Has the responsibility to analyze process and statistical information resulting from quality inspection or audit to identify areas of opportunity and develop better quality processes.
Implement the HPS ISO 9001 quality management system under the guidance of the Global Quality Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering desirable.
- Fluent English - verbal and written.
- Knowledge in Quality Management Systems and Internal Auditor
- 5 years of experience as Senior Quality Engineer or Manager.
- High knowledge in ISO 9001
- High knowledge in Calibration Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and follow up on quality surveys received from customers to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Attend to the observations of external quality audits.
- Follow up on corrections, corrective actions or improvement opportunities in each process.
- Perform quality audits to suppliers and other third-party audits.
- Plan, organize, develop and control internal audits.
- Develop and supervise quality department improvement plans.
- Monitor the issuance of certificates of conformity to customers.
- Analyze KPI's information to design new strategies or corrective actions.
- Prepare semi-annual Quality Management Review data summaries and schedule corresponding Facility Management Review.
- Maintain required quality management system documentation.
- Ensure quality management system documentation is kept up to date.
- Verify the updating of quality system management documentation.
- Prepare minutes of quality meetings and Management Review.
- Coordinate the implementation of new products from a quality perspective, working in conjunction with other areas and developing the required new processes and procedures.
