Position Summary:
Position is responsible for conducting analysis and making recommendations for utilization in decision-making of pricing strategies and price actions, to improve margin, profitability and revenue growth. The role will also be responsible for quoting, reporting, and initial analysis of reports to drive pricing effectiveness.
Essential Functions:• Assist with pricing process improvements and efficiencies.
• Analyze cost structures and perform respective calculations and reports.
• Develop optimal pricing proposals for all new products and product changes.
• Conduct impact analysis and price implementation/administration for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Aftermarket (AM) price actions.
• Researches price discrepancy claims.
• Establish quotes for all product line price requests.
• Coordination of Long-Term Agreements (LTA) and Customer Supply Agreements (CSA) for assigned OE customers including raw material and productivity adjustments and impact reporting.
• Support ongoing and new product development from a pricing perspective.
• Develop optimum pricing for all new products and changed products.
• Support central pricing functions including accruals, price quote, price match, etc.
• Conduct review for price discrepancies and provide account managers with claim documentation to present to the customer.
Knowledge:
• Strong working knowledge of competitive markets and pricing techniques.
• Intermediate knowledge of industry, products, AM and OEM markets.
Experience:
• 2-5 years of experience in a pricing related environment preferred.
• Manufacturing and or automotive experience preferred.
• Experience with global/international manufacturing a plus.
• ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.
Skills:
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
• Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management.
• Advanced independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Shows commitment to process improvement.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision.
Education:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field.
