Descripción
Purpose:
To make as significant a contribution to Bisco Industries' goal of “Being the best distributor in the world of fasteners and components used in the production of electronic and aerospace products and to contribute the maximum effort through my sales activities toward the goals of Bisco Industries, Inc. with the following guidelines in mind.
Goal:
To operate a profitable cell in accordance with Bisco's goal of being the largest and most profitable distributor of our product.
Increase revenue goals in the target customers and markets and exceed sales goals forecasted monthly, quarterly and yearly.
To implement an effective business plan in which measurable results are achieved in efforts to exceed budgeted profit
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Manage a profitable team of sales people that grow revenue and market share.
- To meets or exceed net income budget and gross profit dollars.
- Manage Sales team productivity goal.
- Exceed sales team's current year booking goals versus prior year bookings goals.
- Implement business plan key objectives to result in positive results.
- Complete Action Items regarding business plan objectives.
- Quarterly presentations are thorough and meet company standards.
- Financial numbers presented are accurate and current.
- Business Plan is current and measured accurately.
- Team profiles are completed prior to quarterly meetings.
· Manage employee turnover.
- Performance evaluations.
Key Sales Responsibilities:
· Consistent contact with teams' core buyers to increase sales.
· Customer files for the team are accurate.
· Team's Follow-ups are current in the system.
· Core accounts for each team member are visited a minimum of twice a fiscal year.
· Team's monthly productivity requirements meet or exceed company goals.
· Encourage building relationships with manufacturer representatives.
· Line cards, literature and catalog requests are processed the same day.
· Customer requests to cancel or to change orders are processed according to policy.
· Initiate efforts to create open account with customers who are placing their first order.
· Telemarketing coverage is logged to indicate the coverage achieved on core accounts.
· Manage desk in a professional organized manner presentable to vendors and customers.
· Remote training for the team is completed timely and accurately.
Qualification:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal communication as well as communication through email.
- 5 years minimum sales experience within a directly transferable industry, i.e. selling raw materials to bisco's buying community.
- Must be able to demonstrate success as a high performer in sales in previous work history.
- Must be able to demonstrate success as a manager or assistant manager in previous work history regarding turnover rate, profitability versus budget, year over year sales, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or comparative experience is not required.
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to sit at a desk for 8 hours a day with reasonable break time allowances
Must be able to lift necessary standard office equipment and office tools and sample kits.
