Global Business Services (GBS) is the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with outstanding business analysis and insight, enables our customers to focus on AZ's strategic priorities. Our remit covers record to report, procure to pay and order to cash, tax, planning & forecasting and management reporting, to customers across AZ Globally in Commercial, Science, Operations & Enabling Functions, Tax, Treasury and Group Finance. AstraZeneca's Finance function is continuing its transformation adventure with the objective of delivering excellence in financial operations.

Role Summary
- Deliver professional and consistent service to customers. Resolve Regional inquiries that have been brought up by the team, for DMT function.
- Master Data Governance maintenance
- Support Team Lead to handle master data processing within well-defined guidelines, including resolving basic queries and investigations in a timely manner in DMT area. Carry out all master data requests accurately and within specified timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining Customer Master Data for a specific region in MDG system
- Closely collaborate with business users to resolve their queries and support in Customer MD requests.
- Supervise request queue and follow up with Data Management team / collaborators on request status.
- Handle transaction processing independently, including resolving inquiries and investigations, setting a multidimensional pace in the DMT area.
- Supply to development/changes in systems and process improvement initiatives. This includes preparing and updating process documentation.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead in dissecting key point indicators metrics for the DMT function, injecting insightful commentaries where needed to elevate performance.
- Empower lead partners to review compliance to key controls as identified in the FCF/SOX documentation.
- Assist Team Lead when there are any ad hoc activities or project.
Crucial Requirements
- Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively in English.
- Customer centric mind-set and ability to handle customer queries and requests.
- Working experiences in a shared service center across a global/large organization.
Desirable requirements:
- Using SAP, Oracle or other ERP system will be an asset
- Knowledge in visual basic and macros is an added advantage.
