- Reports to Project Manager (daily work flow is managed by the Construction Site Coordinator)

Essential Functions
- Responsible for developing professionally following the site supervisor trainee training matrix (project schedule based on progress, targets, and deliverables)
- Adheres to an agreed set of safety and quality standards and ensures these standards are maintained
- Supports the Construction Site Coordinator and Site Supervisor with on site tracking and completing site diary and work logs.
- Supports the construction team in planning the workflow on construction sites
- Together with the Construction Site Coordinator and Site Supervisor hold daily morning meetings on-site to deliver health and safety briefings and divide the work for a day
- Oversees certain tasks on construction sites. Leads and directs the work of individual teams of volunteers and masons
- Supports the Site Supervisor to implement Team Leader's training and holds regular Team Leaders meetings and local workers meetings.
- This is a training role, in which the candidate will spend a minimum of 3 months up to duration of the program; if a candidate successfully completes training, the expectation is that they will be available to progress to another role and stay with the organization for multiple programs.
- We understand vaccination is the best way to protect our beneficiaries, community members, staff and volunteers. Therefore, we require all staff members working in in-person environments (including program staff, office staff, team meetings and program visits) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable guidance, the term fully vaccinated currently refers to when an individual has received all recommended Covid-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.

Position Requirements
- Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in carpentry, masonary or in another related field is preferred.
- Related Experience 2+ months of volunteer and 1+ month Team Leader and/or Site Manager All Hands and Hearts experience. Training experience in hands-on construction in a developing country is preferred. Knowledge of various constructions techniques including, but not limited to timber structure, RCC, and metalwork.
- Special Competencies/Certifications . Good written and oral communication skills and confidence working with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. The applicant needs to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Constantly works in outdoor adverse weather conditions
- Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 lbs on work site or on base
- Frequently operates construction equipment (table saws, impact drivers, drills, and more)

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate is $200-$400 USD/ month, based on position, skills and experience
