JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct the weekly safety audit to detect and reduce unsafe conditions and acts in the workplace.
• Ensure the use of PPE by the personnel under their supervision.
• Ensure the monitoring and closure of unsafe conditions within the work area.
• Understand and follow up on training for positions assigned to the work area.
• Review the daily production schedule to plan the resources necessary for the execution of operations.
• Validate daily that the required headcount (fill rate) is complete for the execution of tasks in order to fully comply with the schedule.
• Comply with production schedules in terms of quantity, quality, time, and form.
• Manage, control, and care of the physical, financial, infrastructure, and human resources in their work area.
• Actively participate in institutional strategies and/or continuous improvement.
• Promote and participate in modifications to production processes to improve them.
• Facilitate preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure direct and indirect materials are used in accordance with standards.
• Responsible for keeping overtime to a minimum and avoiding triple overtime.
• Ensure that scrap generated is kept to a minimum and is disposed of daily.
• Responsible for closing accident investigations within 24 hours.
• Execute line start-ups, shutdowns, shift changes, and changeovers in a timely manner.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Efficiently manage human resources (work hours, overtime, department changes, and staff vacations).
• Ensure that the staff under their supervision has the competencies and skills to perform their jobs. Ensure the inspection and correct implementation of TPM in each corresponding area.
