Posting Specific Description

The position builds and deliver on innovative ways of modernizing OS & end user endpoint management via workflows, processes, and technologies products / services. We manage and monitor all end user devices/assets connected to the network empowering our end users to use any device anywhere securely and productively. Application Package Engineer will create efficient, reliable installs/uninstalls with repeatable deployment results that translate to conflict free, and easier-to-manage applications.

Project Execution / Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, Engineering and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Expert knowledge in desktop operating system technologies such as Windows 10 / 11 and Mac OS X
• Requires BigFix relevance Language and Action Script programmatic experience
• Tanium platform specifically Tanium Deploy experience
• Requires experience automating manual processes using scripting/testing tools - PowerShell
• Must have experience with Windows 10/11 including but not limited to full knowledge of OS operations, File System Registry, Services and DLL's
• Experience with Flexera Admin Studio and InstallShield
• Requires experience using automated software distribution (BigFix/SCCM/Tanium) and packaging software tools (InstallShield), including MSI format
• Requires experience with a variety of application delivery mechanisms, installed and executed locally (BigFix/SCCM/Tanium)
• Requires in depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Policies
• Application development a plus but not required.
• Hands-on Software/hardware troubleshooting experience
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation
• Ability to conduct research into System infrastructure performance issues and products as required
• Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.

• Utilize Intune's cloud-based functionality to enforce both mobile device management and mobile application management best practices. Role will leverage additional functionality such as Desktop Analytics, AutoPilot, Azure AD Domain Join, and Hybrid-Domain Join
