Job Purpose:
The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and generating potential business opportunities or leads for the sales or marketing team. The main focus is to research, qualify, and convert prospects into leads that can eventually lead to sales or partnerships. This role often involves a mix of inbound and outbound activities to attract and engage potential customers.
Qualification & Skills Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or telemarketing is preferred, but entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are also considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with prospects effectively.
- Basic understanding of the sales process and the ability to persuade and engage potential clients.
- Comfortable using CRM software, lead-generation tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and industries that fit the target market.
- Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping in CRM systems.
- The ability to follow up and engage leads consistently to move them through the sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated with a focus on meeting or exceeding lead-generation targets.
Job Duties:
- Identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, databases, industry events, and more.
- Evaluate and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they meet the company's ideal customer profile (ICP).
- Reach out to potential leads via email, phone calls, social media, or other communication channels to generate interest in the company's products or services.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and convert interested prospects into leads for the sales team to pursue.
- Build relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-ups, education, and engagement until they are ready to make a purchasing decision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads in the CRM system, ensuring all interactions are logged and tracked for future reference.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure leads are properly handed off, and strategies are aligned.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to continuously improve lead-generation tactics.
- Track and report on lead generation performance, providing insights on lead quality, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Identify areas for improvement in lead generation processes and suggest strategies to optimize the process.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to sit for entirety of shift and work on computer
- Some lifting, bending and stooping as required
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested

- Ability to be flexible when last minute changes or requests are made
- Valid Driver's License
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Willingness to travel in North America
