Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements and their implications. Telecom background is preferred.

Industry Experience: Experience with customs clearance processes and systems specific to telecommunications equipment.

Location: Guadalajara, 100% on site.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in customs clearance, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

Certifications: Certification in customs brokerage or international trade is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of customs laws and trade regulations.
• Proficiency in documentation and data management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Activities:

Documentation Preparation: Prepare and submit accurate documentation required for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping details.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documents comply with local and international regulations, staying updated on customs laws and trade agreements.

Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments to facilitate smooth clearance and delivery of goods.

Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues or delays related to customs inspections or documentation errors, managing disputes or penalties related to customs compliance.

Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of shipments, including clearance status, costs, and compliance details, generating reports for internal audits or compliance reviews.
