BASIC FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Head Guard-Fire Protection, this position is responsible for the direct supervision of security guards as well as the assignment of the daily activities

to them with focus on the protection of the company assets and the associate´s security.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct supervision of a group of security guards and fire protection personnel, establishing work activities, monitoring performance, providing feedback to them.

2. Responsible for periodical inspections of the fire protection equipments (sprinkler

systems, fire pump, extinguishers, post valve indicators, raisers and fire alarms) to ensure the proper functioning.

3. Monitor the issue of the daily “hot work” permits, based on a revision of the physical conditions at the work area.

4. Monitor the issue of the confined space permits through a revision of the physical conditions in this special work spaces.

5. Perform audits to the contractor workers while they are working at company.

6. Participate in the implementarionof the corporate security guidelines.

7. Responsibleof the access/exits control of associates.

8. Responsibleof the access/exits control of vehicles, visitors and contractors.

9. Ensuring that the security guards elaborate an a report when a significant event

occurs, as well as, to immediately notify of this situation to the Head Guard – Fire

& Protection Coordinator.

10. Assign the activity to monitor the CCTV system (in daily basis) to the Security

Guards.

11. Assign the activity to perform security patrols around and inside the facilities to

the Security Guards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Preference Bachelors degree.

EXPERIENCE:

Preference 2 to 4 years of experience in previous related positions. No criminal record.

FORMATION:

Preference Knowledge of Microsoft Windows based software applications.
