Main Responsibilities

As a Digital Process Expert - EMES for ISG-Electronic Systems, which designs and manufactures the electronics hardware that makes John Deere equipment smarter,located in Torreón, Mexico, you'll be an expert in how the digital systems at ISG-Electronic Systems work together...and how they can work together better. All the digital products at ISG-Electronic Systems - manufacturing execution, business operations, and engineering product lifecycle management - are intentionally integrated and work together to provide the best and most efficient outcomes for our users. Being a Digital Process Expert means that you will...

• Be responsible for working directly with users to learn their digital product needs and pain points, collaborate toward a common cross-product user experience, document new processes, train and coach users, and drive user acceptance testing.
• Work with users across all of John Deere's electronics manufacturing and design facilities in Fargo, USA, Torreón, Mexico, and Lonikand, India.
• Be the expert when process-related questions, issues, or opportunities arise. You'll leverage your expertise to provide troubleshooting and support to users and be a liaison to the development teams on business processes and how the business uses applications.
• Be a change agent. You'll help define and lead projects and initiatives to increase the effectiveness of our current digital solutionsand enable the adoption of solutions from our core manufacturing, engineering, and information technology stacks for the benefits of reducing development lead time, technical debt, and cost while improving user experience.

What Skills You Need

• Experience working with digital manufacturing execution, manufacturing engineering, or operational technology solutions in a factory environment.
• Excellence in verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to train and coach users on how to best utilize technology solutions and software.
• Proven learning agility with the ability to learn complex digital manufacturing solutions.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to be inquisitive, assertive, patient, an active listener, and to converse often and effectively with others.
• Ability to communicate complex subjects across all departments, skill levels, and levels of the organization.
• Experience with specific ISG-Electronic Systems digital products (Electronics MES, Epicor ERP, Agile PLM).
• Experience with John Deere SAP enterprise resource planning solutions or product data management digital products.
• Desire to facilitate change and demonstrated project leadership and development of large projects.
• Proven ability to creatively solve problems that match business processes or process issues with applied technology solutions.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Degree in Engineering or IT discipline or equivalent experience.
