Descripción
GENERAL FUNCTION
Serve as a subject matter expert and resolution specialist for Sales Audit through answering phone calls and emails with field, stores, Asset Protection, and banks. Perform Sales Audit administration tasks including reconciling as needed, coordinating with other departments for reporting and internal/external audit requests.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Research and resolve daily questions received through email, phone calls and voicemail.
· Respond to store, field, and internal partner inquiries in a timely and courteous manner utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Complete internal and external audit requests for transactional data.
· Share suggestions and recommendations for potential process improvement opportunities.
· Comply with established department and company internal controls.
· Possess intermediate knowledge and utilization of systems and software within area of responsibility.
· Assume additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as needed or directed.
· Work within brand Sales Audit team to multi task and juggle responsibilities to handle store and department needs.
· Performs daily transaction reconciliation for cash, gift card, and credit card store deposit receivable accounts.
· Researches and resolves issues and any escalated issues in a timely manner.
· Maintains continuous improvement mindset and proactively identifies, reviews and implements process improvements.
· Prioritizes work, seeking guidance from Manager as needed.
· Externally communicates with bank and credit card/gift card processor contacts.
· Escalates issues to Manager in a timely manner.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent focus) or equivalent experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Ability to adapt to shifting and competing priorities
· Constructively challenges the process and takes the initiative to search for opportunities to grow, improve and innovate
· Strong time management, organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
