Position Purpose
Mission of PPI Manager is to plan, coordinate and control of New Product & Process Launches Activities to reach Operations Readiness specifically focus on the industrialization aspects to fulfill the Automotive Industry OEMs Requirements and Internal Stakeholders Targets such budget, manufacturing cost optimization and timing. Furthermore, the PPI Manager initiates and implements action plans at Plant Level for continuous improvement of all New Product and Process Industrialization relevant processes to keep Business Competitiveness.
The PPI Manager supports the Quote Process for New Businesses Acquisition providing a Manufacturing Process Concept and Investment Plan based always on Lean Manufacturing and Process Technology Innovation Strategies.

The PPI Manager supports the Quote Process for New Businesses Acquisition providing a Manufacturing Process Concept and Investment Plan based always on Lean Manufacturing and Process Technology Innovation Strategies.
Main Tasks
- Translate business/project/product specific requirements into tangible impacts on Manufacturing Plant (e.g. invest, capacity, capability) and assess plant readiness for New Product & Process Launches.
- Implement manufacturing process continuous improvements by applying Lean Manufacturing Strategies.
- Active role as interface to Business Unit, Business Functions by developing a strong Global Network.
- Ensure PPI Team Competence and Career Development.
- Contribution to the Financial Success of New Product & Process Launches and Business Growth.
- Fully comply with Automotive Industry Requirements (APQP, AIAG, VDA, etc.).
- Take the role of Plant's interface to Project Team and Business Functions.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate or Central product and process industrialization standards.
- Anticipate and define mitigation plans for Project and Quote related Risks.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree: preferably in mechanical, manufacturing engineering, chemistry or related discipline
- Proficient in English
- 3 years of experience in Automotive Industry
- 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing and engineering areas in a leadership position
- Experience:
- Project management
- Comprehensive in rubber and plastic production processes and ramp-up projects (desirable)
- Working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign cultures
- Quality and customer satisfaction
- Lean production/CBS principles, methods and tools
- Skills:
- Leadership & management
- Communication techniques
- Problem solving and decision making
