Summary:
Results-driven professional with proven expertise in establishing and executing strategic work plans to ensure the timely and efficient supply of all materials required for optimal business operations. Skilled in managing the flow and distribution of raw materials and finished products, while ensuring full alignment with customer delivery schedules. Demonstrates strong command of ERP systems to monitor, control, and optimize supply chain performance across all stages of the process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate supply chain and customer service teams to address requirements related to materials, logistics, warehousing, and continuous improvement projects in material handling, supply chain efficiency, and customer deliveries.
· Ensure compliance with requirements for onboarding new clients.
· Support plant improvement initiatives.
· Enhance the management of export and import logistics operations.
· Optimize inventory management to improve accuracy and reduce carrying costs.
· Oversee compliance with customs regulations for import and export operations.
· Manage the company's supply chain from demand planning to final delivery to the customer, ensuring operational efficiency, on-time performance, and high-quality logistics processes while maintaining service excellence and reducing costs.
· Mitigate supply risks and establish contingency plans.
· Implement the Kanban methodology for visual workflow management, improving cycle times and reducing bottlenecks.
· Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory levels, inventory turnover, logistics costs, and adherence to the production plan.
· Lead the customer service team in managing orders, inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups.
· Implement and optimize order management processes (order entry), including response times and coordination with production, logistics, and billing departments.
· Handle special cases or strategic clients in collaboration with the commercial team.
· Generate performance reports and continuous improvement proposals to enhance the customer experience.
· Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and with production to manage changes in delivery schedules.
· Collaborate with the finance department to create Customer Orders (CO) and ensure accurate invoicing of delivered products.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
· 5 years of experience in a similar position.
· Problem solving, personnel management, leadership, teamwork, proactivity, development of indicators, assertiveness, crisis management.
· Knowledge of Mexican regulations and required customs regulations.
