Technology Teacher (STEAM Focus) Middle School

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and professional license in Computer Systems Engineering, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in ChromeOS and Microsoft operating systems.
• Google Educator certification (preferred).
• Knowledge and experience in programming languages, electronics, and 3D design.
• Strong classroom management skills, especially with teenagers.
• Ability to effectively transmit knowledge, demonstrate leadership, work in teams, and maintain high productivity.
• Experience using and managing a makerspace.
• Full-time availability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and dynamic classes according to the study plan.
• Continuously update teaching materials.
• Create a safe and appropriate learning environment.
• Present students with challenges to stimulate learning through varied and innovative methods.
• Manage and ensure the proper use of the makerspace and its materials.
• Provide personalized support and guidance to students.
• Assess and monitor student performance.
• Review and provide feedback on student assignments.
• Prepare and accompany students to innovation and technology competitions and events.
• Promote collaborative work with fellow teachers, especially within the STEAM department.
