Educational Prerequisites

• Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent). Master's degree in is a plus.
• Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).

Technical Prerequisites

• 3+Years of Experience as Product Design Engineer
• Automotive knowledge background (Electric drive knowledge is a plus).
• Knowledge in manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, stamping, forging, etc.
• Knowledge of mechatronic systems and mechanical integration.
• Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
• 2D&3D CAD software knowledge (CREO Parametric preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the Product Development Process.
• Strong knowledge:
  • FMEA.
  • Drafting standard.
  • GD&T application.
  • Stack-up calculation.
  • BOM structures.
  • PDM software knowledge (Windchill / SAP.
  • Electromechanical background is preferable.
  • Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations to ensure or improve product function (Including tolerances and interfaces analysis)
• Generation of mechanical designs and models of steering systems.
• Responsible for mechanically integrating e-motor assembly.
• Manage internal and external cross-functional manufacturing design reviews.
• Provide technical support and assessment of customer requirements.
• Responsible for product data and engineering changes through PDM software.
• Handel of DFMEA & ADVP&R.
• Product function and cost analysis.
• Responsible or preparing presentations to stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees.
