The primary responsibility of this position is to obtain and coordinate the approval of government agency forms supported in our tax compliance software products. Forms Analysts must learn and closely adhere to the needs of both the taxing jurisdictions and product developers to determine solutions that best suit TRTA product needs. Forms Analysts work very closely with Composing Technicians to reproduce the agency forms and follow Form-design procedures including: marking forms for needed changes, reviewing forms after changes are made, logging and tracking forms, creating form samples for government agency approval, and serving as the main contact with the different agencies.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Forms Analyst, you will be responsible to:
- Receive and review forms
- Ensure compliance with all jurisdiction specifications and with established industry standards and guidelines
- Act as primary contact for external stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify specifications
- Create and maintain relationships with taxing jurisdictions for tax related information, approval of tax forms, and resolution of issues
- Provide effective and timely escalation of quality issues
- Receive, log, and route forms for changes
- Mark forms for needed changes and review for accuracy after completion of changes.
- Quality checking and proofing the work of Composition Technicians as a final check and balance to catch any errors
Perform other tasks as requested or as needed
- Assist in training of temporary and new full-time design staff
- Contribute to various non-busy season projects, often designed to assist other departments
- Contribute to the team's ongoing efforts to improve processes and efficiencies
About You

- Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat Professional is desired
