Design Business Unit Manager

About the Role:

At Safran, a leader in the aerospace industry, we are looking for a Design Business Unit Manager to organize and lead our Design Business Unit. This role is essential for deploying strategic planning, aligning local operations with Corporate Design Entities, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, airworthiness requirements, and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and direct the Design Business Unit.
• Deploy strategic planning and oversee progress plans.
• Align strategies with Corporate Design Entities and local operational business units.
• Ensure respect of delegation protocols, technical definitions, and airworthiness certifications.
• Define and manage hiring, training, and development plans based on validated workloads and growth strategies.
• Identify new skills and manage, develop, and recognize competencies to meet current and future requirements.
• Define and manage budgets in alignment with competitiveness and growth plans.
• Ensure application of corporate norms and policies regarding Intellectual Property Protection, Export Control, Cybersecurity, and Protection of Sensitive Information.
• Foster leadership, Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality cultures within the organization.

Profile Requirements:

• Education: Professional Degree / Bachelor's Degree / Diploma.
• Experience: More than 5 years of leadership experience in high-technology environments.
• Languages: French (Fluent)/ English (Fluent)
