As a Localization Operations Specialist, you'll help adapt Warner Bros. Discovery content for global audiences — from subtitling and dubbing to ensuring content is delivered on time, securely, and true to its original creative intent. You'll work with multiple teams and vendors, manage assets, and support innovation in workflows and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with internal teams (Localization, Anti-Piracy, Content Ops) and external vendors.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of localized materials.
Maintain strong relationships with partners and clients, providing regular updates.
Content & Editorial Workflows
Use internal tools to manage, move, and deliver assets to localization vendors.
Ensure compliance with creative, technical, and security standards.
Manage files securely, preserving integrity and ownership chain.
Support localization tasks like dubbing, subtitling, and title creation.
Project & Vendor Management
Manage project plans, timelines, and documentation.
Oversee vendor assignments and performance, maintaining SLA standards.
Flag issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance localization workflows.
Pilot new tools and technologies.
Contribute to internal training and development.
Administrative Tasks
Prepare reports, generate work/purchase orders.
Participate in meetings and respond to time-sensitive issues when needed.
Requirements
3+ years in production, localization or related area.
Strong knowledge of localization workflows (dubbing, subtitling, asset delivery).
Familiarity with editorial and distribution systems.
Experience with digital tools and project management software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred: background in translation, film, media, or equivalent experience.
