The Indirect Procurement Analyst reporting into the Global Head of Indirect Procurement, is responsible for managing the Global procurement function as part of the existing team, inclusive of implementation of a global sourcing strategy by each category, leading negotiations with regional vendors and executing an effective vendor management program (Vendor creation, category research and procedures).

Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The Indirect Procurement Analyst reporting into the Global Head of Indirect Procurement, is responsible for managing the Global procurement function as part of the existing team, inclusive of implementation of a global sourcing strategy by each category, leading negotiations with regional vendors and executing an effective vendor management program (Vendor creation, category research and procedures).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience of contract and supply chain risk management.
- Strong understanding of contracts and contract management.
- Must have a keen eye for detail, provide insights based on market conditions and trends, optimize value from/with suppliers, and improve and influence the decision-making process.
- Proven ability to positively persuade and influence decision making, at all levels in the organization.
- Strong ethical values and knowledge of supply chain governance and compliance
- Comprehension of business and legal terms related to sourcing/contract matters.
- Ability to plan, organize and carry out multiple related sourcing and contracting activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, multitask and possess strong initiative, exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures.
- Ability and Willingness to understand and interact with diverse groups and cultures.
- Demonstrate self-awareness, embrace feedback, and has appropriate sense of urgency.
- Stakeholder management with ability to influence and drive change.
- Must be analytical and able to draw conclusions and make decisions with sometimes limited data.
- Self-starter with ability to make sound business decisions and find hidden opportunities.
- Possess organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize, be detail oriented and results driven.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including strong verbal and listening skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers across multiple countries and cultures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese/English desired.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook and other related applications.
Education, Qualifications, Certifications, and Licenses
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management or related major in a public or accredited academic institution preferred.
- 5-6 years' procurement experience preferred.
- Experience of leading global sourcing projects.
- Experience supporting indirect professional services spend categories.
- Prior strategic sourcing experience is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with the procurement process and understanding of Indirect Procurement.
- Exposure to strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes.
Certifications:
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent procurement qualification desired.
