Join Vesuvius as Category Manager Services & Energy– NAFTA

We are looking for a Category Manager Services & Energy– NAFTA to lead the strategic sourcing and management of services and utilities across our sites in North America.

What you will do:

• Manage the USD $50M Services & Energy Spend for the NAFTA region, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
• Lead negotiations and contract management with suppliers for services including facilities maintenance, leasing, security, travel, utilities (electricity and gas), and more.
• Build strong stakeholder networks and gain in-depth knowledge of the services category to align with business needs.
• Define and implement procurement strategies, identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.
• Oversee compliance with local and corporate procurement guidelines, including REPSE (Mexico) and other regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure timely and effective service contract renewals and monitor the Procure-to-Pay process.
• Provide analytics and reporting to the NAFTA Indirect Procurement Manager and support continuous improvement through benchmarking and best practices.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in Services Procurement in a manufacturing environment, including direct experience with U.S. and Canadian suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (JDE/SAP), RFX processes, and tax/duty implications of cross-border service procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• Bilingual in English (C1/C2 required) and Spanish.
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• A service-oriented mindset with strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
