POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The DevOps Engineer I is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting all DevOps activities infrastructure. Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and configuration

Responsibilities Level I

• Responsible for executing, testing, implementing, and supporting all DevOps activities and infrastructure.
• Provides direct technical support in problem management, integration, and configuration
• Responsible for coding and maintenance of DevOps automation.
• Responsible for designing all DevOps activities and infrastructure.
• Provides consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning.
• Provides consultation for problem management, integration, and configuration.

Job Qualifications

Skills Required:

• Proficient in DevOps Automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIT, Jenkins, Pipelines, Automated Testing)
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
• Good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within a team and beyond
• Strong understanding of change management
• Excellent decision-making skills

Certificates / Training:

• Preferred: ITIL v3 Foundational level

Experience Level I:

• 1+ experience in systems administration or DevOps tools administration
• Experience in working in DevOps teams in an Agile Delivery/onshore-offshore model
• Experience in general automation of infrastructure, provisioning, and configuration management functions
• Experience with release, workflow management, or in a variety of phases spanning the release lifecycle
• Experience supporting configuration management activities to establish and maintain the integrity of the products

Education Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's in information technology, computer science or related field
