Fortrea is on the lookout for a Master Data Management (MDM) Architect to help shape the future of our global data ecosystem.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with deep data strategy experience and a passion for building future-proof platforms.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Supports the Product Owner, Data Quality, Governance, and MDM in defining the long term technology vision for MDM, and interacting with appropriate vendors and third parties
Acts as the ARB representative for the MDM Platform. He/she is the initial point of contact for any inquiries related to the impact of a specific project on the state of the MDM platform
Keeps up to date with all key decisions related to canonical data modeling for master data
Supports the Head of Data Platform Architecture in properly modeling Enterprise Data assets and in the definition, documentation, and maintenance of all architectural standards, policies, and best practices for the MDM platform
Leads the design of all matching rules for MDM
Acts as the MDM consultant for cross-program and cross-project technology strategies
Defines the enterprise MDM Platform technology vision tailored to Fortrea business needs. Documents such vision in multiple ways, suited to the interest of different stakeholders and audiences
Is the recognized expert in the field of MDM, as well as all related methodologies. He/she keeps abreast of the latest trends in the field through formal and informal learning, as well as participation in industry groups and conferences
Collaborates with all other architects in the data space to ensure a coherent approach to data architecture for Fortrea
Is an advocate for the agreed upon data technology choices of the enterprise
Builds relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of individuals within the enterprise (IT and Operations), external vendors, and customers alike
Informally leads, manages, and motivates team members to support objectives and mission and to achieve goals set out
Maintains an up-to-date repository of all technical debt in his/her area
Works in a lean organization and creatively tackles problems using colleague networks and publicly available solutions; work independently and successfully in a matrix environment; and prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Works in fast-paced, team-oriented and self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Things strategically and possesses the ability to communicate a vision and drive results
Is very detail oriented and highly organized with a strong business/technical acumen
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, an innovative approach to problem-solving, and a strong work ethic
Coordinates with other enterprise governance teams to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Perform all other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience (Minimum Required):
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Platform leader
At least 10 years of IT Leadership in the data strategy space
Proficiency with Profisee, Informatica MDM, or Reltio
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience in a Clinical Research Organization or healthcare-related industry.
