Position Summary:
Provides 3rd level of support for Store Technical Support concerning LINUX, UNIX and store system issues. Performs comprehensive root cause analysis of system failures for the purpose of improvements in system functionality and call volume. Provides superior service through fast and prompt interaction with other groups of support.
Job Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned:
• Performs system administration activities, including but not limited to, requesting reboots of servers, relocation of space and monitors drive/server failures.
• Handles problems of a sensitive nature and/or that require extensive research to resolve.
• Reviews system logs to determinate cause of failures, monitors and performs comprehensive root cause analysis of system failures.
• Generates support documentation, documents resolutions, provides analytical data and makes recommendations to support strategic goals; generates ad-hoc analysis if needed.
• Writes code and conducts testing on existing written code.
Skills and Requirements:
• Level of formal education: An Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.
• Area of study: Computer Science or programming
• Years of experience: One to two years.
• Type of experience: Experience in this job, Customer service, AutoZone stores, or STS Technical Analyst I
• Special certifications or technical skills: Fluent in English and Spanish
• Other/preferred: LINUX, MS Office, MySQL, Postgresql, AutoZone Stores or Technical experience; Python, Pearl, Jquery, HTML linux Environment, C, C++, JCL; Portuguese is desired.
