Role Summary
· Define optimum Supply Chain Intercompany flow strategies Optical Communications (COC)
· Evaluate and recommend how to optimize NA regional demand profiles to meet customer and delivery goals
· Maximize scalability, and adaptability to change, including market and business needs
· Ensure strategic alignment to critical business priorities like HSDC
· Work collaboratively with sales, manufacturing and planning throughout the NA region to bring demand solutions, balanced production and inventory planning
· Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and roadmap
· Analyze data, assess potential benefits, and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
· Work collaboratively with Regional and Plant resources to:
· Partner with cross functional stakeholders to ensure optimal balance between customer service levels, inventory and asset utilization
· Participate in regional SIOP (IBP) process to resolve significant current/potential supply performance problems, demand bias or instability
Requirements:
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
· Professional qualifications in supply chain management, operations, or engineering (BS Degree, Supply Chain degree preferable)
· 5 + years' experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, or SC Operations with demonstrated track record of results
· Mastery of supply chain strategy best practices and philosophy in optimizing operations
· Expert on process flows from fiber to finished solution
· Ability to align and build teams to deliver results (Influence). Able to get things done by influencing resources across the globe that are not direct reports and may have conflicting regional priorities
· SAP knowledge or understanding
· Understanding of product and regional demand
· Financial acumen (understanding landed cost, and profit & loss statements to drive decision making)
· Ability to simplify complex situations and deal w/ ambiguity
· Strong communications (particularly upward within a global organization), leadership, and interpersonal skills
· Up to 10% travel
