We're looking for an Financial & Administrative Manager – Real Estate with strategic vision, operational precision, and a strong desire to make an impact. Job Objective: Act as the trusted operational arm responsible for ensuring the financial control and analysis of the group's real estate companies, both in Mexico and abroad. This role will oversee billing, financial administration, reconciliations, accounting review, and coordination with tax advisors. The position is accountable for managing account statements, ensuring organization, compliance with tax obligations, project profitability, and full financial traceability at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue invoices and provide timely follow-up on accounts receivable.
- Manage accounts payable, receivables, and vendor relationships, ensuring business liquidity.
- Review bank statements and perform accurate accounting reconciliations.
- Prepare key financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow report.
- Coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate tax filings (returns, withholdings, electronic invoicing, etc.).
- Oversee the accounting of real estate properties, including income from rents and operational expenses.
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts to support analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and handling of internal and external audits.
- Document and update administrative and accounting procedures.
- Stay current with accounting and tax regulations relevant to the real estate sector, both locally and internationally.
- Manage financial procedures with foreign banks and follow up on international financial operations.
Requirements:
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel.
- Valid visa (preferred)
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within the real estate sector or family-owned businesses.
- Experience in tax management, audits, financial analysis, and invoicing.
- Experience dealing with international banks.
- Preferably with a specialization in Finance, Tax, or Real Estate Management.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations applicable to the real estate sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CONTPAQi, COI, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with tax laws and real estate-related regulations.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset.
- Highly trustworthy individual with strong ethical standards and organizational focus.
- Extremely organized, discreet, proactive, and responsible.
- Verifiable professional references supporting experience and reliability.
